Location: hybrid working (home based with a requirement to travel across the Cadent Network)Join us as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, adding real purpose and direction to your career by helping us deliver energy safely to customers and shaping our transformation journey to decarbonise the energy sector.About the RoleReporting to the Engineering Manager, you`ll hold a core role within our Engineering Team.The Engineering team provides technical expertise and guidance to operational, project delivery and hydrogen asset development teams to drive regulatory compliance and ensure our assets are fit for purpose.As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be supporting the development of technical specifications, troubleshooting asset quality and technical issues and undertaking the technical qualification of suppliers for valves, regulators, overpressure protectivedevices and other static equipment. You will be leading the qualification of such items for natural gas and hydrogen transportation infrastructure development, working closely with the rest of the engineering team, project, quality and procurement and supplychain teams.Key accountabilities will include:
