Together were shaping/creating a cleaner, greener future for our 11 million customers who we put at the heart of everything we do.The OpportunityWorking within the West Midlands this role delivers data analysis and process support for Cadents Asset Investment Planning and Design Management across all asset categories.The Process and Data analysist role will be involved in all aspects of gas asset investment decision making. The successful candidate for the role will assist the team in managing workstacks, manging key processes and collating, analysing and reporting data.This is a team-based role where the individual will be required to support other members of the West Midlands Asset Investment Team to achieve outcomes and deliver benefits. In this role, you will also be cross trained on other processes carried out withinthe wider team to assist in times of high volumes of work.Key Accountabilities

  • Gather, extract, analyse and report on data from multiple sources to understand investment needs - systems such as ESRI, SAP and locally held spreadsheets.
  • Lead the prioritisation and delivery of data cleansing activities as well as ensuring data used in reaching asset management decisions is accurate and complete.
  • Support in the specification of asset data capture requirements to ensure we have complete and high-quality asset records.
  • Provide on-going assurance and improvement of our business processes, ensuring the processes are up to date with documented Standard Operating Procedures. Ensure these documents are easily accessible to those who need to use them.
  • Manage and assess the progress and performance of elements of the Asset Management Plan, including risk identification and mitigation, and compliance assurance.
  • Support the ongoing accreditation of ISO55001.
  • Ensure and promote compliance with Cadent policies, standards and procedures.
  • Create progress reports that enable the tracking, monitoring and promotion of work within the team.
  • Manage the teams communication channels to ensure work is routed to the right team member.

  • Well organised with a great eye for detail.
  • Good under pressure and tight timescales.
  • Able to build relationships across different levels and teams to support effective delivery of work.
  • Great communicator, influencer and collaborator.
  • Have a track record in analysing and evaluating data, identifying underlying issues and root causes.
  • Be able to show experience of using tools and data to support decision making.
  • Show evidence of interrogating data from disparate sources to understand a bigger picture.
  • Have a basic understanding of Asset Management principles, processes and techniques.
  • Possess good numerical analysis techniques.
  • Be an advanced user of Microsoft Office suite applications.
  • GCSEs or higher in a STEM subject.
