Job Description

Are you a qualified teacher of Religious Studies looking for a new role for January 2023Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an outstanding teacher of Religious Education to join a successful grammar school in south Manchester from January 2022 to July 2022.This is a part time teaching role to cover a maternity leave.The RoleTeacher of Religious Studies to key stage 3, key stage 4 and Key stage 5.Core Religious studies with a focus on developing open- minded and empathetic learners supporting British ValuesInnovative teacher able to adapt lessons to a broad range of beliefs and culturesThe academy are interested in hearing from early career teachers, experienced QTS teachers or FE lecturers with experience of teaching Religious Education to students aged 11 to 18.Ability to cover other subjects including PSHE< and social sciences would be beneficial.4 Days a week Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & FridayThe SchoolOfsted Outstanding academy since 2008Excellent facilities for teaching and learning.Mixed selective grammar school for students aged 11 to 18"Behaviour is exemplary Students are highly motivated, work hard and enthusiastically participate in all aspects of school life".To join us and be successful in this Teacher of Religious Studies role, you will need to:

  • Hold QTS Status or QTLS or equivalent further education qualifications such as PGCE14+ or Certificate of Education
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Provide a CV with 10 years of employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK with no restrictions
