The FIRM: Established 1985, our client is a niche specialist business consultancy which helps the owners of retail and healthcare companies gain leverage from their training, management development, expansion, strategy and exit planning.The ROLE: This is a new position, initially part-time (3 days per week), potentially part-WFH if preferred, which reports directly to the Managing Director. The company has a huge reservoir of stories, case-studies and related content tocommunicate to its market and stakeholders. An online content writer/coordinator is therefore required to tackle the challenge and, also, assist on social media outreach, marketing (mainly e-shot) campaigns, brand development and commercial research. Key responsibilities:- Develop, collate and manage the firm’s content library- Generate and post assorted new content - blogs, web articles, social media items and occasionally longer-form articles (in trade journals etc) - on a regular basis.- Build relationships with the trade press, PR contacts, professional bodies and other relevant organisations and stakeholders.- Run e-shot and social media outreach campaigns across multiple platforms, especially via Linkedin and Mailchimp. - Play a leading role, collaborating with colleagues, in other marketing and communications activities, relating to brand, social media, digital marketing and occasional events/trade fairs.The IDEAL CANDIDATE will be a graduate in English, social sciences, Journalism, Communications, PR (or similar) who has a minimum of two years’ professional B2B writing experience, either within industry, a PR/comms agency or perhaps asa freelancer. Specific prior writing experience regarding corporate finance propositions, company reviews and prospectuses would be a distinct advantage but is not essential. To be considered you must however display an appetite for thorough, detailed andprofessional writing about a range of subjects which might require preparation and research.Excellent written skills are of course essential, as is a positive, flexible and collaborative personality allied to the ability to muckin’ when it is all hands to the pump! You will need to be able to multi-task under pressure at times but then, at othertimes, concentrate on detailed research and writing work - perhaps from home (if preferred and if practicable). Strong all-round IT skills are essential.The role comes with a competitive salary and full benefits package. The precise P/T hours can be flexible to suit. The position is available immediately.
