Job Description

Our client is a rapidly growing boutique professional services firm that works on behalf of their clients to maximise their HMRC refund opportunities. This is very much an expanding market place and clients are typically SMEs and you will be building relationships at FD/MD/CEO level so a high level of professionalism is essentialThe ideal candidate will have a real interest in business; how they operate, what research and development they undertake, what projects they are involved in, future plans etc to really engage and share the passion of their clientsCovering the Manchester to Leeds areaRole, Skills required and Responsibilities for the position of Business Development and Relationship Manager:

  • Genuine commitment and passion to help SME’s and large companies to successfully claim potential tax refund/credits;
  • Identify new potential clients and partners and develop new pathways for increasing engagement while strengthening existing partnerships which all deliver the Companies objectives;
  • Proven self-management skills enabling the role holder to set and manage their own priorities, ensuring enough appointments to be field based for 2/3 days a week to clients and partners;
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • To be a capable user of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and the internet;
  • A co-operative and flexible approach to working with others to meet agreed targets, objectives and deadlines;
  • Have excellent communication skills as you will be liaising and working closely with prospective clients, accountants as well as current and prospective partners;
  • Be highly organised, ambitious with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn;
  • Be a team player and capable of working in an office environment;
  • Offer day to day support to the partners;
  • Ability to influence, persuade and negotiate;
  • Proactively undertake networking opportunities and maintain high levels of representation of the Company;
  • Develop relationships with new and existing clients, accountants and partners through face to face meetings as well as through regular phone and email correspondence;
  • Take accountability for the ongoing management of companies partnerships, ensuring you continually review and build on relationships
  • Hold a full & ideally clean driving license.
  • Based 2 days in the field, 3 days in the office
  • Basic of £20k with realistic and achievable OTE £60-75K plus mobile, IPad, car allowance etc Required skills
