Job Description

Our client is a global leader in automation software solutions with over a 1000 installations worldwide in a variety of industries including chemical, medical, pharmaceutical, food, water, forensics, petrochemical, clinical, hospitals and commercial etcDue to their exceptional growth, they are looking to recruit highly motivated Product Support Specialist to join their European Services TeamEssential Qualifications:

  • Degree or HND in STEM subject or MCP
    • Languages required:
  • English essential
  • French essential
    • If you also have Italian or German that would be highly advantageous but not essentialResponsibilities for the position of Product Support Specialist
  • Evaluating complex customer problems, identifying root causes and deriving solutions
  • Documenting product defects and developing test scenarios for the development team
  • Responding to customer queries in a timely and accurate manner
  • Managing incidents from start to finish and being aware of Service level agreements
    • Skills required for the position of Product Support Specialist
  • Degree or HND in STEM subject or MCP
  • LIMS ideally
  • Databases -SQLServer, Postgres, Oracle
  • Windows 10, Windows server OS
  • SQL
  • Networking
  • Web services, APIs
  • Laboratory/Scientific experience
  • Cloud -AWS , Azure
  • Dev Ops
  • Java script
  • Able to work individually and as a team
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Problem solving and logical thinking
  • Customer focussed
  • Basic programming skills
  • Good IT knowledge (software, OS, web)
