Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for an External Auditor for an established chartered accountants practice in Altrincham. Part time, permanent position.Our client has a vacancy for an External Auditor to join their team in Altrincham. Company ethos is delivering quality services, whilst building long-lasting relationships with their clients. They provide a range of accountancy, audit, bookkeeping, payrolland taxation services.The role is in person, largely office based with some work on clients’ premises required.Salary: £40000 - £45000 (Pro Rata)Benefits: Company pension scheme. 25 days holiday per annum (Pro rata) plus bank holidays. Free onside parking.The role:· Performing external audits from planning through to completion for small and medium sized companies as well as incorporated and unincorporated charities.· Ensuring compliance with auditing and professional standards, keeping up to date with evolving laws and regulations.· Preparation of financial statements, including consolidated financial statements for limited companies, incorporated and unincorporated charities, LLPs, partnerships and sole traders.· Acting as a point of contact for clients, to advise and assist them with their queries or concerns, provide guidance and support.· The role may also involve training/mentoring other members of staff.· Working closely with the partner to ensure that the companys operations comply with all relevant professional and compliance standards and regulations.Requirements:· Professional qualification with ICAEW or ACCA desirable but not essential.
