DescriptionOVERALL PURPOSEThe overall purpose of the role is to ensure the efficient, professional, timely and accurate release of all fund valuations and to ensure that client dealing is also processed in a timely and compliant manner. The primary role is to manage a highly demandingand key client relationship (along with other clients) taking control of all of the aspects of the valuation, dealing and settlement process including processing and accounting for trades, calculating Gross Asset Values and Net Asset Values and distributionof fund prices as required. In addition to the main focus on valuations the role will include regular interaction with investment advisors, fund accountants, custodians, colleagues from other offices, various external business contacts and clients of the StonehageGroup. The role also involves a close working relationship with the members of the Stonehage Corporate Services team. Key ResponsibilitiesPRINCIPAL ELEMENTS & ACCOUNTABILITIESValuations and accounting • The provision of all valuation services • Bookkeeping all bank statements and investor statements to agree investment closing positions • Ensure funds priced in accordance with relevant Prospectus/Offering Memorandum and other material documents • Ensuring the release of all valuations in accordance with the timeframe prescribed • Reviewing and, as appropriate, authorising fund payments • Coordination of service providers (including bankers, custodian, investment advisor, administrator) whether internal or external to ensure service is delivered promptly and cost effectively • Investment execution - submit account opening forms and manage calls, distributions and general cash flow management QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE• CAT/AAT/IAB or equivalent or qualified through experience • Some experience of working in the fund industry • The experience and aptitude for dealing efficiently and effectively with competing deadlines for clients • Working knowledge of Excel and general MS products COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS• Excellent attention to detail, delivering work of a high standard • Proactive and solution focused • Team oriented with flexible approach • Ability to use initiative and work independently • Integrity, honesty and professionalism • Able to structure work logically and efficiently and executes accordingly in a high-pressure environment
