Job Description

Join us as an Operational Tax Reporting Project Manager

  • This role offers you significant exposure as you will build and maintain a wide network of stakeholders of varying degrees of seniority
  • Were offering this role for a period of six months, and there could be an opportunity to extend this further
  • Salary starting from £60,600 to £72,720 depending on location and experience
What youll doIn your new role, youll prepare, analyse and take ownership of all project plans, controls and resource plans and make sure that these are in line with any wider programme plans and controls. Youll make sure that activities are in place to adequately preparethe business and engage all the appropriate stakeholders effectively to enable change to be implemented and handed over. Youll lead a team, setting objectives and carrying out individual assessments, while building and maintaining a positive working relationship with stakeholders across multiple franchises and functions, and at different levels. Youll also:
  • Identify, track, manage and mitigate any project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies
  • Analyse the appropriate statements and prepare estimates for approval
  • Ensure that quality services or products, required for project delivery are acquired to schedule
  • Support the creation of a financial business case
  • Track and report project costs and make sure that the project is completed in allotted budgets
  • Make sure that all project deliverables satisfy the requirements and that they adhere to the agreed governance framework
The skills youll needWell expect you to hold a project management qualification, as well as some experience within operational tax. You should also have experience of delivering strategic projects that support the business strategy and its growth agenda. Youll also need:
  • An understanding of tax, financial crime and related compliance
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders, colleagues and senior managers
  • The ability to deliver project management, ideally within a financial services environment
  • Experience with customer outreach and engagement
  • Knowledge of data sourcing and lineage
