    • Job Description An outstanding opportunity for a banking lawyer, who is interested in working in the Wealth and Retail side of a bank, as become available in Jersey, Channel Islands. One of the worlds leading banks is seeking to hire a Legal Counsel to join the Private Wealth legal team, based in Jersey. The role will have significant autonomy in advising the Wealth business on retail and consumer products offered to the Private Banking clients. The role will be broad in its approach, advising on a range of consumer and retail products targeted at Private Wealth customers. Working collaboratively with various departments of the team, you will advise on a range of commercial, financing and regulatory matters affecting the private banking retail side. Candidates with experience in retail or consumer banking are actively encouraged to apply. Candidate Requirements:
  • You will be a qualified solicitor with at least 2 years PQE in banking and ideally have some exposure to consumer or retail products.
  • A desire, or experience, to work in the private wealth division of a global bank
  • Excellent communication skills and able to work closely with wider business units
