Job Description

Join the Close Brothers Finance team where you will need to maximize the amount of profitable new business generated from direct proposals and the portfolio of existing Close Finance (CFCI) clients in Jersey. This is to be achieved through proactive salesactivity and the provision of high levels of customer service. Each Client Relationship Manager (CRM) will be responsible for the management and retention of the direct customer base of CFCI. To be successful in the role you must be a self-motivated, sales led individual who possesses excellent planning and organisational skills. You need to be a good communicator with strong influencing and debt structuring skills in predominantly, a personal lendingenvironment. You must have an ability to maximise lending referrals, retain and proactively manage existing clients to ensure that CFCI is positioned as the finance provider of choice. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide Relationship Management support to a portfolio of existing CFCI clients.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to monthly sales team results.
  • Identify new potential clients.
  • Maximise networking opportunities and identify all cross-selling opportunities to colleagues and other parts of the Close Brothers Group.
  • Assist clients in the loan proposal/application process.
  • Collate and analysis relevant information provided by the client and propose deals to the Underwriting team.
  • Update all relevant internal sales reports, as required.
  • Manage and complete both business and personal administration within given timescales.
  • Assist the Collections team where necessary.
  • Ensure full up to date knowledge of relevant local market and competitor activity is maintained.
  • Assist in identifying new product opportunities, new client services, sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Maximise the awareness of CFCI in the local market and work to maintain the good name and reputation of CFCI in the Channel Islands.
  • Work the required contracted hours and on occasion, additional hours as and when required, to achieve success in the role.
  • Any other duties reasonably requested by the head of Personal Lending, Jersey.
  • Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU:
  • Sales experience in a financial services environment.
  • Experience of delivering coaching & training sessions.
  • Experience of organising and managing sales review meetings.
