Job Description

Our Client is a small friendly company based in Aldershot. They are a currently recruiting for a 2nd part time Accounts Assistant to join their team working 25 hours per week.Key responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the purchase ledger
  • Entering all supplier invoices
  • Coding against purchase orders
  • Coding foreign vat
  • Reconciliation of credit card
  • Setting up new supplier accounts
  • Assisting with sales ledger when required
  • Ordering stationery
Skills:
  • Thorough attention to detail, the ability to use own initiative
  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • The ability to work well with others
  • Ideally qualified or part qualified in ACA or ACCA and have 3 years of experience in similar role
  • Can work with minimal supervision
  • Well versed with accounting principles and financial reporting practices
  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Quickbooks online preferred
  • Excellent time management skills and a proven ability to balance multiple priorities by considering risk, importance and level of urgency
This is a lovely role working in a very friendly team. The salary offered is pro rata £25,000 with good benefits
