Job Description

Job Description- Quality ControlAre you a Quality Controller with an eye for detail Do you have a good understanding of Quality Standards Are you self-motivated and strive for continuous improvementWe are partnering with a long-term client based in Chorley; a market leader in global textiles looking to recruit 2 Quality Controllers, on rotating shift patterns including days and nights, to join the team to contribute to their continuous improvement.If you have a Quality background in manufacturing or in textiles, read onWhat you Get:

About You:
  • You will have previous Quality related experience in manufacturing (within textiles is desirable).
  • You will have strong communication skills with customer focus.
  • A mind set for continuous improvement; you will be confident in challenging the status quo.
  • Good analysis with the ability to summarise your findings.
  • Able to work rotating shifts Day & Night.
About the Job:
  • You will audit and monitor quality systems & procedures, raising non-conformances against relevant standards with objective evidence.
  • Complete product testing working to schedules.
  • Assist Area Leader and Assistant Technical Manager on technical issues such as CCP & pre-requisite management.
  • Provide technical support and advice to laboratory, testing and shop floor teams.
  • Work with the production team on continuous improvement of technical control
  • Support NPD trials and product launches, manage testing and product life assessment.
  • Apply business Quality Standards and monitor manufacturing practices, ensuring customer and legislative requirements are maintained.
