Recovery OfficerSalary £22 968 to £27,991 per annum37 hours per weekThis exciting role is designed to maximize the revenue and income the Council receives from the recovery of Business Rates and Council Tax using a variety of enforcement tools. The post-holder will also deal with the more difficult or complex recovery queriesfrom both commercial and domestic customers. The successful applicant would also work with the Revenues Technical Manager, partners and other staff to drive business transformation to support service improvement, challenging existing service delivery modelsand championing new ideas.The ideal candidate would have a flexible and adaptable working style, an ability to learn complex legislation and experience of working with various IT systems. Previous knowledge of Business rates or Council Tax legislation is desirable but not essential.Good numerical reasoning skills, an ability to work under pressure and a willingness to collaborate with innovative working methods are all essential.
