Job Description

Job title: Marketing Communications CoordinatorLocation: AddlestoneHours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (permanent, Full -time)If you are an experienced marketing communications person and ready to take the next step in your career, we have a wonderful opportunity to become a part of a company that strives to better communities.As a Marketing Communications Co-ordinator, the main objectives of your role will be to:

  • Generate insight into the charity’s audiences’ perspectives, needs and wants
  • Research, coordinate, schedule and monitor an annual communications plan
  • Oversee external communications, providing guidance to staff, setting and monitoring quality standards and ensuring consistent application of our brand
  • Identify, create, and publish content that is clear and concise and including social media, newsletter, and web content, monitoring performance, learning and improving results, and reporting monthly to the senior team
  • Make effective, coordinated use of digital channels, and ensure that campaigns align with strategy and annual plan, and deliver results
  • Support colleagues to create paid online advertising campaigns and ensure effective tracking, monitoring, improvements, evaluation, and reporting of campaigns
  • Oversee subscriber lists in Mailchimp and our CRM, ensuring we comply with all legislation, follow best practice, and provide a rewarding experience for subscribers
  • Manage external writers and designers as needed
  • Lead on and manage key projects such as the charity’s Annual report and Accounts
This will be a great match if you have prior experience within a marketing environment, excellent communication and inter-personal skills, with an active listening ability, and you enjoy working in a team environment. You will also need excellent planning,organisational and time management skills, which will give you the ability to follow their data protection and safeguarding policies.In return, youll be part of a professional team, who have a rewarding mission to help those in need. This job will allow you to travel around the Surrey area and has the potential for remote working.
