This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Runnymede Borough Council’s busy Housing Allocations Team who are tasked with making best use of the limited, available social housing, whilst striving to let properties as quickly as possible to keep void periods to a minimum.You will be responsible for allocating to social housing accommodation and ensuring that all applications are fully verified. The team also maintains the Council’s housing register, so you will assess these applications to determine the level of housing need and offer advice on other housing options. You will be committed to building a sound knowledge of the Council’s Housing Allocations Policy.We are looking for a capable and ambitious individual, with a keen eye for detail, to join our team. You will have experience of working within a housing field and be a team player who is articulate, organised and able to work well under pressure.
