  • To work as a member of the relevant Childrens Service Team
  • To carry out individual assessments of need and to utilise specialist skills appropriately
  • To provide/arrange support for carers / families
  • To liaise with Local Authority and external providers in relation to the formulation and
  • provision of individual care / supervision packages
  • To work as a member of the relevant Childrens Service Team

  • To ensure that users are appraised of services and resources relevant to their needs and to access such service resources where appropriate
  • To contribute to service development including innovative ways of working and to imaginative use of resources at local and council-wide levels
  • To report directly to the line manager through supervision or the professional,
  • organisational and operational aspects of the workload
  • To actively practice and promote the principles of anti-discrimination.
