As part of the UHB’s response to COVID-19 and the wider Welsh Government’s Track, Trace the Protect project. An exciting secondment or fixed term (until end March 2021) opportunity has arisen for Registered Nurses to work in our communities within our Population Testing Units.The post holder will be responsible for the COVID-19 swabbing of adults and children within the Testing Unit bases across the UHB or community and primary care facility. They will provide specialist advice in relation to the swabbing procedure and the treatment of COVID-19. Any specific training required for the role will be providedThe post holder will be part of a wider dedicated team and supported by a Senior Nurse, Band 7 Testing Unit Clinical Manager, Health Care Support workers and a large administrative team.
