Multi Skilled Operative / HandypersonMerthyr & Rhondda Cynon Taf£24,973 per annumPermanentFull Time (40 Hours per week)This role will be internally known as Handyperson.Cwm Taf Care and Repair are recruiting a permanent Handyperson to join their team delivering small works services to clients across Cwm Taf.The agency is committed to providing an efficient and effective service to older or disabled people. This will enable clients to remain in their own homes in greater comfort and security. As the Handyperson you will be responsible for visiting clients intheir own homes and completing a range of works to meet their needs. Works will include: Keysafes Grab Rails External Galvanised Rails Stair Rails Small Ramps / Home Access Levelling paths Gutter cleaning Minor works to enable clients to remain safe at home** The above list is not exhaustiveWe are seeking a Handyperson who will need to be proactive, flexible and self-motivated. Commitment to providing a client orientated service is essential along with the ability to work to timescales.The successful candidate will hold: A qualification in a building trade or equivalent proven experience. Experience within a similar maintenance role. Strong knowledge of repair work covering a range of skills including carpentry and other general building trades. Clear knowledge and understanding of health and safety requirements. Awareness of quality standards.Due to the nature of the post, you will hold a full driving licence and will have a full DBS check.
