Permanent, 37 hours per week Soulbury Scale B Point 7-10 £55,677 - £59,250 + 3 SPA points TY TREVITHICK ABERCYNON CF45 4UGEducational Psychology ServiceWe are seeking to appoint an outstanding professional to contribute to our excellent and well regarded Educational Psychology Service. The post will involve creative leadership and innovative strategic developments across Rhondda Cynon Taf Educational Psychology Service and in line with the SLA for Merthyr Tydfil so that excellent psychological services can be provided for our learners, their families and external agencies.The role combines strategic development, leadership, management and operational delivery. As a member of a multi-disciplinary team the post holder will make an important contribution to an ethos of positive collaborative working with other professionals within the Access and Inclusion Service, including the Learner Support Service, CLA team, and ALNAS Administrative Service. Effective partnership working with School Improvement colleagues will also be an essential part of the post holders role in discharging the Local Authoritys support and challenge role in overcoming barriers to learning and achievement. A passion for raising standards and improving outcomes for children and young people, and excellent working relationships with headteachers, parents/carers and other professionals will be essential.
