Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is looking for an exceptional, ambitious senior leader to take up this unique opportunity to establish a truly integrated system for the wellbeing of our communities and population.Working with the very best clinical leaders, the Director of Acute Services will be responsible for serving the population by supporting the Executive Director of Operations. You will have a key role in supporting three Integrated Locality Groups with both strategic development and operative business.These Integrated Locality Groups bring a population health focus, collaborating with partners, together with all aspects of mental health, primary care, secondary care, in a truly integrated way to deliver the very best outcomes for the people we serve.Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is ideally situated within a beautiful part of Wales, between Wales’ capital city, Cardiff, to the south, the South Wales coast including Porthcawl and Swansea Bay to the West and the stunning scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park to the North – all within a short commute. Providing strategic and operational leadership, you will ensure safe, high quality, and efficient management of all services within the Executive Director of Operations’ portfolio, and ensure a positive patient and community centred culture.You will have a proven track-record in managing highly complex services which involve staff from all levels within an organisation and across a range of professional and organisational boundaries.
