Job Description

Business Development Manager & Sales role - covering Wales & South West.Up to £30,000 basic salary + uncapped commission. Overall on target earnings of £50,000+ (realistic targets)This highly professional but friendly Health & Safety/HR/Employment Law Consultancy based out of Abercynon in South Wales are looking for a strong Business to Business Salesperson/ BDM to develop effective relationships with new and existingclients whilst identifying sales opportunities and generating leads.They put huge emphasis on customer service and adding value to their clients business which is reflected on their 92% retention rate.About the roleThey are seeking a self-motivated individual who has experience in B2B sales to build and develop a client base. The successful candidate would grow within the role and progress by self-generating new business and nurturing a customer base.By utilising telesales, networking and marketing, you will be responsible for driving sales for the South Wales office by consistently hitting targets and identifying additional sales revenues in an emerging market. The role will begin primarily with new businessbut grow into more account management with time. There will be some appointments generated for you, but you MUST be a self-starter and have the ability to self generate.Experience

  • c.3-5 years worth of Business Development experience with the ability to build strong relationships quickly and effectively.
  • A proven track record of sales, which you will need to provide during your interview process.
  • Consistent communication skills i.e. in constant contact with a high level of verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident with clients and customers with an open, enthusiastic and positive approach.
  • The ability to work within a team with flexibility to support the business.
  • The ability to build rapport with customers quickly.
  • Ability to manage numerous tasks at one time and stay focused on delivery.
  • Influential and persuasive.
  • Ability to work in a target driven environment under pressure.
  • Industry experience preferential
  • Requires a driving license & own car (they offer mileage for the travel involved)
You will be given lots of autonomy in this role. You will be given flexibility to seek out different industry clients in an expansive region. When not on the road seeing clients, you will be mostly office based.
