Job Description

Job Title: Purchasing AdministratorLocation: AbercarnSalary: £11.00 per hour Temporary to Permanent contractHours: Full time 39.5 hours a week. Mon - Thurs: 8:30 - 17:00, Fri: 08:30 - 16:30Here at The Recruitment Co we are currently recruiting a Purchasing Administrator to work for a client of ours based in Abercarn on a Temporary to Permanent position.Duties include:

  • Placing of purchase orders via the use of Sage Line 200.
  • Progress chasing of existing orders.
  • Booking in goods received.
  • Dealing with delivery discrepancies.
  • Liaising with Stores/Shop floor personnel/suppliers to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Delivery schedules.
  • Organising returns.
  • General administration duties including filing.
Skill sets & Experience:
  • Administration experience.
  • Sage Line 200 or other Accounts/POP software.
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs such Outlook and Excel.
  • Good Communication skills.
  • Good Attention to detail.
  • A team player who can work on own initiative without constant supervision.
