Job Description

Our market leading, very well established client is looking for a Despatch Operative to work in their logistics department.This is a permanent, full time position with great opportunities to learn and develop the trade in which you will be working and potentially gain further training to progress into higher skilled roles within the company. The Despatch Operative will work in a busy logistics environment being a vital part in the process in meeting crucial deadlines.Responsibilities:

Contacting relevant people to chase up missing van jobs
Packing materials to their different specifications
Picking products from location
Processing jobs correctly to ensure the despatch area remains organised
Labelling where required
Loading of outbound vehicles
General Housekeeping

Requirements:

The successful candidate will be experienced in working within a warehouse or stock control environment.
Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are required.
High level of organisation is vital.
Must be a good team player with great communication skills.
Flexible approach and ability to do overtime where required.
Excellent time keeping.

Monday to Friday, 09:00 until 17:00 (overtime on offer depending on business requirements) £10.50 to £12.00 per hour depending on experience.Based just in between Huntingdon & St Neots (Own transport required) INDINDUSTRIAL
