A successful and busy Race & Classic Sports Car specialist is looking to recruit an experienced Purchaser / Buyer with automotive knowledge. This exceptional opportunity is office based adding to our Parts Department to support our current Purchasing team.The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and computer literate.Experience of using Sage Line 50 an advantage, but not essential.This is a full time position working a 40 hour week with overtime available. Working hours are 8.30 am to 5.00 pm - Monday to Friday.Job Specification:Able to confidently negotiate the very best prices and quantities with suppliers for the benefit of the business.Have a polite but positive telephone manner.Dealing with goods in/out and returns.Automotive knowledge experience is essential.Liaising with UK and overseas suppliers.Ensure key dates and deadlines are met.Knowledge of Sage Line 50 an advantage.Processing Purchase Orders.Skills:Good organisational skills.Good attention to detail is vital to this role.The ability to work on own initiative.Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be dealing with suppliers face to face, on the phone and via emailDue to the location of the company you MUST have your own transport and ideally live locally.Please advise current salary on application.About the CompanyDenis Welch Motorsport is a well-established company, which has been providing parts and services to national and worldwide customers for over 43 years.
