Job Description

  • Membership Engagement PR - Home based - some travel (Northern Patch Yorkshire & Humber)
  • £38,000 up to £45,000
Client DetailsA not for profit organisation who is looking for someone who can help influence and engage with potential customers in driving key educational messages around science.DescriptionAs a Stakeholder and Engagement Manager you will help to build influential relationships and partnerships in the north of England mainly within the education space but also with businesses too.
  • You will help to drive strategy of engagement with large community groups including charities as well as all educational establishments. You will also be linked to businesses who partner with these organisations in driving the opportunities.
  • You will help to drive change and diversity in the groups and unlock capabilities as well as raising awareness and improving accessibility
  • You will work across a large stakeholder group in raising the profile of the organisations via various channels
  • You will help to influence campaigns through the ongoing management of specific strategic relationships and partnerships with individuals and organisations.
  • You will also build community partnerships to support the delivery of public engagement and programme activities
ProfileEssential skills
  • Outstanding relationship and stakeholder management skills with the ability to establish effective, sustainable working relationships with a wide range of organisations at a senior level.
  • Demonstrable experience of influencing external and internal stakeholders with often differing needs, interests, and motivations.
  • Evidence of the ability to identify opportunities, make connections and facilitate collaboration between stakeholders with areas of mutual interest that may not appear immediately obvious.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, digital and oral) with the ability to quickly adapt the core narrative to the needs of a diverse audience and at differing levels.
  • Experience of managing varied workload with high levels of attention to detail and ability to prioritise in support of strategic objectives.
  • Experience in schools, FE, HE, Community Engagement, charity, Local government, policy, and campaigning would be ideal
This is a unique role, but you can make a big impact by networking across various channels in helping to drive key massages in influencing key subject matters around science topics.Job Offer£38,000 - £45,000 plus excellent benefitsThis is a great opportunity to make an impact. You will mainly be home based and will cover the north so you may have some occasional travel across Yorkshire and NE.
