Job Description

Join a team who are passionate about ensuring they provide a holistic, creative, and bespoke curriculum tailored to meet the academic and social needs of all pupils.You will be joining a specialist education provision that caters to young people with social, emotional, and mental health additional needs.Working hours are Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 15:00, term-time only. This is a temporary position initially, although there is an opportunity to move onto a permanent contract with the school following a successful introductory period with Reed Education.Main duties:

  • Preparing learning materials and adapting resources to meet children’s educational needs.
  • Engaging children in learning activities and caring for their physical, emotional, and social welfare.
  • Supervising pupils and ensuring their safety and ability to access learning activities and understand the information presented.
  • Aiding the execution of education plans suitable to each pupils’ learning objectives.
  • Contributing to the effective implementation of multi-agency approaches to supporting students.
  • Finding strengths of pupils and helping them develop these areas.
  • Following the school’s behaviour management policy effectively.
