Job Description

Clark Drain is a leading drainage product manufacturer and supplier to the UK construction industry.Due to business growth we are currently looking to recruit a full time Coating Sales Executive to be based at our Head Office in Peterborough.Reporting to the Galvanising and Powder Coating Manager the role offers an excellent working environment and competitive salary package dependant on experience.Position Description

  • Liaise with Logistics Department/Transport department to maximise route and vehicle efficiency.
  • Provide quotes and obtain orders for both the galvanising and powder coating departments.
  • Ensure all quotations are followed up and all are completed.
  • Maintain department customer and prospects information databases.
  • Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, opportunities and solve or refer problems.
  • Maintain sales records.
  • Account management of existing customer base.
  • Manage and maintain call plan, and own customer relationships.
  • Monthly reporting
  • Helps develop established script to use when calling customers.
  • Customer visits as and when required.
    • Key Skills Required for Submission
  • Basic computer knowledge and keyboard skills
  • Good telephone manner
  • Evidence of building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Excel at communicating internally with your colleagues and externally with clients and show a solid desire to drive improvement at all levels.
    • Experience Preferred
  • Experience of working within a high paced manufacturing environment
  • A proven track record of building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Ideally have some working knowledge of Galvanising and Powdercoating products.Hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00 with a 30 minute unpaid break for lunch.
