Would you like to start earning over £26,000 a year - equivalent to just over £12 per hour. Progression from this is not only possible - but expected, and with a little overtime, you could easily earn over £30,000 a year!We are looking for talented, motivated people who want to join a friendly, safety conscious business that is continuing to grow. These are permanent positions.Working as part of a small team, though often on your own, your job is to process all the extrusion dies used on a daily basis. This will involve storing and retrieving dies either from racks or from automated carousel units. Then setting these up ready for production, and taking them to the press. Your organisational skills and being able to prioritise will make the difference, to ensure production is fully supported. You will need to use an overhead crane or hoist, pallet truck and computer, though training will be given.Safety is paramount so you will be expected to not only operate safely, but also identify opportunities to reduce risk.Working on a rotating shift pattern - typically you will have 2 days off one week and 5 days off the nextConveniently located with access to J20 on the M5 only 10 minutes away, it is also served by train (10 minute walk) and bus (5 minute walk)Acorn Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
