Reed are recruiting for a Receptionist in Yatton, Somerset, on a part time, permanent basis.This is a great location for anyone based between Weston super-mare and Bristol, looking to cut down on their commute to work.The role is unique in the hours you’d be working, as it’s a part time role, offering hours every other week with varying shift patterns.20.45 hours every other week.You will be on a 4 weekly rota, with the 4th week expected to be on standby for any annual leave/sickness cover.Week One – Late Shift - Mon to Thurs – 12.45pm to 5.00pm. Fri – 12.15pm to 4.00pmWeek Two – Off WeekWeek Three – Early Shift - Mon to Thurs – 8.30am to 12.45pm. Fri – 8.30am to 12.15pmWeek Four – Standby Week - Expected to cover if the receptionist due to work becomes unwell or has holiday planned.You will be paid a monthly bonus of £30 for the week four on top of your hourly rate, even if you don’t cover any shifts for that particular month.About:Provide a welcoming, courteous, friendly, helpful and efficient service to visitors and staff alike.Duties:Open up Reception ensuring all is tidy and ready for the dayCheck any messages left on the switchboard during any closure period, and pass on accordingly either by phone or email (caller to be contacted if messages unclear for more information), take switchboard off ‘voice mail’ for 8.30am startCheck visitors daily meetings booked in online meeting room planner; staff on holiday/off site meetings/sickness etcMeet and greet visitors and contact relevant member of staff ensuring all visitors sign in and are issued a badge and necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Hi-Viz vest, safety shoes etc.Ensure courier deliveries signed for, recorded and distributed accordinglyPass on messages from callers and/or emails to relevant staff memberFollow fire drill roll call process and regularly update staff names on listingAssist the post room with sending out bulletins/newsletters; making up folders ready for manuals and any other admin tasks to support the team which can be undertaken at the reception deskTurn both door operating controls to extreme left to ensure that no access from outside at end of each working day
