These are permanent positions.The role will require a mixture of regular patrol inspections, as well as spot checking, so you will cover a lot of ground. Its not just about making sure the metal is the correct specification - hardness, size/shape, surface finish - but also about looking at ways to reduce scrap and defects. This will involve working with the production and packing teams, as well as the end user, so being a team player and great communicator is very important. You will also be expected to record and document your findings, as well as analyse data, as we aim for zero defects!We will train you to use the equipment and tools, you just need to bring enthusiasm, an enquiring and open mind, and a positive - can do - attitude.
