Job Description

Our client, a family run manufacturing business, is looking to recruit a Warehouse Administrator to support the Warehouse Manager in administrative tasks, working closely with warehouse, planning, materials, customer service and transport teams.The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience in a similar role in FMCG (preferably in a food based environment) have at least Intermediate level ExcelRole and Responsibilities for the position of Warehouse Administrator

  • To carry out in an effective and professional manner the administration duties for the Warehousing and Logistics department
  • To ensure that all Warehouse transactions have been recorded on Sage in an accurate and timely manner.
  • To reconcile on a daily and weekly basis stockholding and reconcile any variances
  • To validate the Sage system for finished goods accuracy and remove all variances associated with production receipts and to seek ways of eliminating these variances and improving the accuracy of reporting
  • To provide daily and weekly reporting that allows the Warehouse Management to more effectively manage and reduce the incidences of significant error and "firefighting".
  • Check daily the completion from production; rectify variances and work with other departments to reduce the instances of error and drive continuous improvement.
  • To resolve and handle queries in a professional, courteous and efficient manner
  • To work closely with Goods Inward / Logistics Departments regarding purchased materials, ensuring good communication when there is a discrepancy.
