And so much more.Your role & responsibilities as a SEND Teaching Assistant:
  • Use specialist (curricular/learning) skills/training/experience to support pupils and enhance their learning and so progress
  • Assist with the development and implementation of intervention or specialist care plans
  • Establish productive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations
  • Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils within the classroom
Non-negotiables:
  • Must hold a Level 2/3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, Etc.) or relevant experience
  • Must have recent and relevant experience in an education setting supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
  • Excellent communication skills (including written, oral and presentation skills)
  • Proven ability to think both strategically and creatively
