And so much more.Your role & responsibilities as a SEND Teaching Assistant:

Use specialist (curricular/learning) skills/training/experience to support pupils and enhance their learning and so progress
Assist with the development and implementation of intervention or specialist care plans
Establish productive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations
Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils within the classroom

Non-negotiables:

Must hold a Level 2/3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, Etc.) or relevant experience
Must have recent and relevant experience in an education setting supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
Excellent communication skills (including written, oral and presentation skills)
Proven ability to think both strategically and creatively
