Job Description

Regulatory Affairs OfficerSouth Manchester - Hybrid & Flexible working £25,000 - £30,000 plus market leading benefits Our client is a well-established distributor that is dedicated to delivering high-quality and innovative products. Due to their ever-expanding growth they are now seeking a Regulatory Affairs Officer to join their team. The business is well respected andsuccessful - its success is based on great products, hard work, flexibility, and innovation and delivering results.Role Overview:Responsible for Legal compliance of formulations, labelling and artworks in specific markets across the clients product portfolio. This role deals with a wide variety of work tasks including, but not limited to the following:

  • Regulatory approvals of all product artworks and supporting documents
  • Update Head of Technical and wider business on changes to regulatory landscapes
  • Follow relevant market regulatory frameworks when applied to strategy, products and comms.
  • Applying regulatory rules to product data such as AAFCO, FEDIAF, Green dot, China, Australia etc.
  • Accountable for the Regulatory translation or request of translations for artwork purposes
  • Map the regulatory framework and keep updated
  • Own the relationship with outsourced regulatory partners
  • Ownership of license renewals - co-ordination of timings etc. and ensuring completed to on time in full
  • Completion and ownership of registration documents for all countries. Using resource internally or externally e.g. Certificate of Free Sale, COAs
  • Drive projects forward through to completion in a timely manner
Experience Required:
  • IT literate - use of Microsoft applications - full training will be given on in house systems
  • Experience of dealing with regulatory bodies - g, AAFCO, FEDIAF, Chamber of Commerce
  • Experience of influencing without authority and indirectly, cross functionally
  • 1 years experience of working within regulatory function across any global markets. Ideally within Pet Care, but any FMCG is acceptable
  • Attention to detail - ensures accurate delivery of information and collateral in a timely and effective manner
  • Team Player - Comfortable working both individually and as part of a team
  • Organizational skills - ability to organize yourself and your tasks to meet the demands of the business.
  • Effective communicator - excellent communication skills are required
  • Time management - uses time effectively to manage a busy workload
