This means that you will liaise regularly with overseas offices, subcontractors, partners or agents* As a provider of customer service you will ensure that the clients expectation is met and, where possible, exceeded* You will be responsible for completing and checking all associated paperwork in line with our ISO defined processes and procedures, and escalating issues where non-compliance has been identified* All customs activities will be made in line with the defined AEO program & HMRC regulations. Your role will involve checking the type & value of goods ensuring that they are legal and legitimate, and ensure that goods are cleared prior to release* You will be required to generate quotations, follow up and record the outcome of all quotations in CW1* The role requires establishing contacts and relationships with customers, providing active and proactive information to the client as needed* The role involves being able to manage deadlines and sometimes difficult situations, therefore an element of negotiation is required in order to be able to meet timescales* You will be responsible for profit/loss accuracy at job file level, including buy/sell rating and ensuring maximum profitability* You may be required to undergo cross training (other clients, routes or modes) to support colleagues, as required* Achieve individual and department KPIs, as defined* Other duties as requestedAbout Us Detail2Recruitment acts as an employment agency in respect of this position.
