Are you a qualified Maths teacher looking for a new role from September 2023 in ManchesterTradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a talented Maths teacher to join a secondary academy in south Manchester from September 2023 to December 2023.The RoleTeacher of Mathematics to GCSEPositive confident behaviour management skillsInnovative teacher able to adapt lessons to the changing needs of studentsExperience of the GCSE AQA syllabus would be beneficial.Experience of catch-up lessons and intervention in key stage 3 would be helpful.The academy are interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers, experienced QTS practitioners and further education maths specialists with experience of teaching maths to children aged 11 to 16.Five days a weekThe SchoolSuccessful 11-16 Catholic academy in south ManchesterGood Ofsted June 2022Part of a Catholic multi academy trust working to ensure outstanding achievement and community wellbeing for catholic families in Manchester.State of the art facilities for teaching and learningSupportive environment for trainee teachers and Early Career teachersExcellent transport links by car, bus and MetrolinkTo join us and be successful in this Maths Teacher role, you will need to:

  • Hold QTS Status or QTLS or equivalent Further education qualifications such as PGCE14+ or Certificate of Education
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Provide a CV with full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work full time in the UK
