Job Description

Credit Controller/ B2B/ Hybrid Working (3 Days WFH) / Free Onsite Parking/ Monthly Bonus/ Excellent BenefitsTo support continued growth, I am looking for an experienced B2B Credit Controller to join My clients European Credit Team. Reporting to the Credit Control Team Leader, you will be responsible for collecting aged and current debt from a large ledger of keyand regional accounts. The successful candidate will be a positive and proactive team member who can build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.This is a role that can offer autonomy, the ability to bring forward new ideas for process improvement and a positive and rewarding company culture.Job Role:

  • Achievement of agreed monthly collection targets through proactive collection methods.
  • Proactive checking and chasing of invoices, resolving customer enquiries and complaints as required.
  • Developing a strong understanding of business specific systems and processes.
  • Improve the timely collection of debt to ensure overdue debt is kept to a minimum.
  • Setting and controlling credit limits based on external reports and understanding of clients.
  • Ensuring strong relationships are established and maintained with customers, suppliers, and internal colleagues
  • Investigation of unpaid amounts on account.
  • Monthly updates to report on current debt situation, seeking assistance as required.
  • Supporting with cash allocation onto accounts as required
Requirements:
  • 2 year’s + previous experience of B2B credit collections within a larger business environment
  • Management of key and blue-chip accounts is highly advantageous although not essential.
  • Ability to effectively process and manage multiple accounts and customers of varying sizes.
  • To have a target driven mentality, committed to achieving results.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to build rapport, develop relationships and communicate at all levels.
  • To be a strong team player with the drive to work to achieve collective team targets.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and a high degree of attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks, calmly in a sometimes time pressured environment.
  • A desire to build upon a credit control career in a successful and continually growing business.
  • Strong computerised systems and Excel. Skills
