Job Description

Branch Manager Manchester Airport, Wythenshawe£55,000 - £60,000 + Car Allowance MondayFriday, Flexible Hours We are delighted to be representing a leading freight company operating in the UK and we are looking for a Branch Manager to lead their team at Manchester Airport. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of theirair freight brokerage business, including overseeing a team of employees, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and maintaining high standards of health and safety.The Candidate;

  • Proven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a team
  • In-depth knowledge of the air cargo industry and customs compliance
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategies to grow a business
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to providing high-quality service
Duties and Responsibilities;
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the air freight brokerage business
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and other relevant legislation
  • Ensure high standards of health and safety are maintained
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers
  • Manage a team of employees, including recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the business and increase profitability
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth
  • Monitor and manage budgets and financial performance
  • Ensure all operations are conducted in a cost-effective manner
