Job Description

I am working with a well established business based in South Manchester to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor/ManagerKey responsibilities to include:

  • Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices
  • Manage a small team of accounts payable clerks, providing guidance and support
  • Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies
  • Ensuring invoices are accurate before processing
  • Capturing and resolving issues preventing supplier payment.
  • Reconciling supplier statements and following up on queries.
  • Managing Key Stakeholders and budget holders
  • Weekly payment runs.
  • Month end reporting tasks.
  • Assisting in creating and improving current processes
Skills:Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and proceduresExcellent attention to detail and accuracyProficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join the team. The company offer hybrid working following successful completion of probation.
