Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to work for our client based in Sedgefield who are looking for production operatives.Duties of the role will include:

  • Picking and packing products from a fast-moving machine - ensuring delivery targets are met.
  • Duties include packaging, taping, manual lifting, labelling operations and sorting.
  • Follow quality control procedures to verify the product is correct and up to the right standard for dispatch - report any defects or out of spec product to the shift manager or quality coordinator.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and signed.
  • Keep the area tidy and complete allocated cleaning tasks on a daily basis as outlined in the cleaning rota.
  • To ensure all protective clothing provided is worn as per the guidance.
  • To work within company Health and Safety Rules.
About You
  • Experience within a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience in plastics industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Organised and have the ability to work at a fast pace.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • A proactive approach to tasks, and the ability to work effectively in a busy, target-driven environment.
Shifts & Salary:Continental Shifts (7am-7pm, 7pm-7am. - 3 days, 3 off, 3 nights.)Pay rate - £10.00 - £11.50 per hourDont delay on this great opportunity! To Apply send an up to date CV
