Job Description

We are working with an early stage hi tech business that is continuing to push the boundaries in green technologies. They are growing at impressive rate and now have an opening for an additional team member within the Quality department.You will be working closely with a very experienced Quality Manager who is passionate about developing their team and has a wealth of knowledge to share. There will be a variety of duties, and this is a role that will develop further in quick time. You willbe inquisitive and have a keen interest in both Electronics and Mechanical Engineering. There is scope to attend supplier audits and input into the manufacturing process to ensure robust Quality Assurance.Core duties include:

  • With the support of the Quality Manager, raise awareness and push forward a positive culture relating to quality control across all business functions
  • Partake in First Article Inspection (FAI) duties in both mechanical and the electronics fields
  • Assist the QHSE manager to develop the companys QC function both internally and externally with suppliers to optimise business performance.
  • Monitor, and make proposals to continuously improve quality control systems
  • Implement and promote the use of a continuous improvement within the quality control function as well as assisting in any roll outs across the business as a whole.
  • Complete and compile quality control reports
  • Participate in audits as required in accordance with the business requirements
  • Support and develop the Health and Safety activities within the company
