Job Description

Business Administrator 20-24k Wymeswold, Leicestershire This role would suit someone with a couple of years work experience who is looking for their next step in an administrative capacity. Any experience linked with the construction sector would be advantageous.We are looking for an Office Administrator to help with the organisation and running of the daily administrative operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and workdiligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results. A sense of urgency is required with the ability to adapt to changing situations.This role will have a level of autonomy, the opportunity to make a difference and long term progression. The right candidate will have confidence and good decision making skills. Responsibilities

  • Organise office and assist associates in ways that optimise procedures
  • Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
  • Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
  • Schedule and plan meetings and appointments
  • Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages
  • Assist with project management/co-ordination and ordering of project supplies
  • Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies
  • Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues
  • Perform receptionist duties when needed
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a back-office assistant or in another relevant administrative role
  • Knowledge of "back-office" computer systems (ERP software, ideally SAP)
  • Working knowledge of office equipment
  • Thorough understanding of office management procedures
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
