Wycombe Abbey is a world-class full-boarding school for girls. With its distinctive heritage, magnificent 170-acre campus and impressive resources, the School provides an outstanding education for 650 pupils aged 11-18.We are currently looking for an Assistant to the Sixth Form Team to provide professional secretarial and administrative support to the Director of Sixth Form and the wider Sixth Form Team. Duties include diary management and liaison with all stakeholdersto ensure smooth function of the Director of Sixth Form’s work, operational and clerical support for Sixth Form Team events, specialist support on all matters relating to Higher Education and assistance with the preparation of School literature, departmentcommunications and reports. Training will be provided as necessary.The appointed candidate will be a highly proficient administrator with experience in a Personal Assistant role, or similar. Ability to prioritise workload, adhere to strict deadlines whilst maintaining strict confidentiality and high standards of attentionto detail is essential. Knowledge and understanding of a school or boarding environment is an advantage, but not essential.Hours: This is a part-time role, working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during Wycombe Abbey Term Time plus four additional weeks during the School holidays. Core working hours are 8:30am - 15:00pm, however flexibility on start and finish time canbe considered.
