Job Description

Our client based close to St Neots is recruiting for a Finance Administrator to join their finance team. Working within a small team our client is committed to offering great learning and development opportunities including working towards professional qualifications.This is an exciting opportunity for somebody who is looking to progress within the financial sector.Duties will include:

  • Providing excellent customer service in all dealings with clients
  • Supporting the finance teams and performing daily tasks and reconciliations
  • Supporting the finance team in providing accurate financial management information
  • Reconciliations and authorising bank payments
  • Client money calculations
  • Processing refunds
  • Monitoring and processing online payments
  • Invoice filing and scanning
  • Daily banking
  • General administration duties
Experience/skills required:
  • Computer literacy, especially the ability to use excel to a high standard
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong administration background
  • Recent experience in a finance administration role
  • GCSE or equivalent Maths and English - C grades (equivalent)
  • Ideally you will be working towards your AAT qualification but this is not essential
  • Experience in an insurance or FCA regulated environment would be highly advantageous but is not essential
Hours of work:37.5 hours per week - 8-4 or 9-5Our client will also consider part time hoursBenefits:
  • This is a fixed term contract covering Mat leave until February 2025 - circa 16 months
