Job Description

Purchase Ledger Clerk - Growing Organisation - Sevenoaks, Kent / Hybrid Working - up to £22k

  • Purchase Ledger Clerk / Administrator
  • £20k starting salary up to £22k after probationary period
  • After training the role will be based in the office near Sevenoaks 2 days per week with 3 days working remotely
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy required
  • Good MS Office skills - Excel and Word skills needed
We have a great opportunity available for an Administrator / Accounts Administrator / Purchase Ledger Clerk to join an independent healthcare company who are entering an exciting period of growth.Suitable candidates dont need to have Purchase Ledger experience as full training will be given, but strong numeracy, good MS Excel and excellent attention to detail and accuracy is required.Key responsibilities as the Purchase Ledger Clerk / Administrator will include:
  • Matching, checking and coding invoices
  • Ensuring accurate entry of invoices and associated VAT
  • Making BACS payments to suppliers
  • Reconciliation of supplied statements
  • Filing invoices
  • First point of contact for all relevant queries
  • Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and colleagues
  • And more
What were looking for:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly numerate
  • Solid MS Office skills including Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Quick to learn new systems and processes
  • Ability to work efficiently and to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Proactive team player
  • Eager to learn and develop skills
