Currently judged as "good" by Ofsted, we areambitious and are well placed to becoming outstanding. We are committed toproviding our pupils with the best possible learning opportunities andsupporting them in their development. Grange Park is part of KSENT a collaboration of 24special schools in Kent. This includes CLASS the Collaborative LearningAlliance. This creates numerous training and development opportunities, sharedworking practices and career progression. The school offers comprehensive training in autism,exceptional CPD support and development opportunities through our Co-operativeTrust of SEN schools. Closing Date: 04/02/2021 at 12:30 Interviews: w/c 8th February 2021 Information about the school Grange Park School is an autism specific provisionfor 8 - 19 year olds and has been accredited for over 9 years by the NationalAutistic Society (NAS), who highly commended our school. The school iscurrently going through the application process for enhanced status whichrecognises the work we do as a school to support young people with a diagnosisof autism. The Stansted Site opened in September 2019following a £400,000 refurbishment modelled on the purpose built secondarysite. The building is located in the pretty rural village of Stansted next tothe village green. Currently judged as "Good" by Ofsted, the school isvery well placed to becoming Outstanding and is oversubscribed. Class sizes at the Stansted and Wrotham sites arebetween 11-13 pupils with a teacher and 1-2 learning mentors. At the Partnership colleges learning mentors aresupporting individual students or small groups of students aged 16-19 years inthe college tutor groups / classrooms and out in the community. The school offers comprehensive training in autism,exceptional CPD support and development opportunities through our Co-operativeTrust of SEN schools.
