Facilities and Operations Officer£22,417 per annumFull-Time, 37 hours per week (1.0FTE)PermanentWe have an exciting opportunity to become a part of our Facilities and Operations team.As one of our Facilities and Operations Officers, you will provide a high level of customer service, ensuring a safe and secure environment is maintained for all staff, students, and visitors to Writtle University College.The role will involve carrying out general maintenance and upkeep of student residence and other University College properties, as necessary. In addition, you will be required to perform security responsibilities, compliance monitoring and testing, porterage and caretaking duties.You will work on a rotating shift cycle covering 06.00am - 23.00pm five days out of seven, generally between Monday to Friday. At times, occasional weekend and bank holiday working may be a requirement to cover annual leave.To be successful in this role it is essential that you have worked in a similar role, be able to demonstrate a good level of maintenance skills and have knowledge of security responsibilities. It is also essential that you are in possession full clean UK driving license. A professional trade qualification would be desirable.Closing date for applications: 8 February, 2021.
