The successful candidate will be able to teach across the KS2/KS3 curriculum. We are a growing provision and therefore roles will inevitablychange as we grow and take in older children.Differentiation and individualised learning strategies are vital skills required to meet the needs of all our pupils who will have had varying degrees of success in their educational lives. Our aim is to change young peoples expectations and we will alwaysprovide our pupils with the best possible opportunities to succeed beyond Medway Green School. Along with this, the use of personalised curriculums and positive reinforcement will underpin your everyday practice.This can be a challenging environment and therefore, determination and resilience are key characteristics for the post. We are seeking an experienced teacher with an ability to interact with and motivate students diagnosed with SEMH and ASC, allowing thesuccessful candidate to immediately form positive relationships and adapt to the needs of the pupils. We invest heavily in teacher development and want staff who endeavour to achieve more. We often find that candidates who have succeeded in mainstream settingsand are looking for a new challenge make excellent SEN teachers. Therefore, applications are welcome from teachers with special needs or mainstream backgrounds.About usMedway Green School is a brand-new SEN provision in Wouldham, Kent. The school, when full, will facilitate up to 46 pupils aged 5-14 with a wide range of behavioural, social and emotional needs including ASC. The school site has recently undergone significantrefurbishment.Medway Green is a part of Acorn Education & Care.
