You will workclosely with the Therapy Team and SENCo, who will refer students to you to engage in 6-week programmeor longer, or one-off sessions in order to address their social, emotional and mental health needs through the use of horses. Students will attend the yardin small groups, or 1:1.Qualifications:GCSEs English and Maths C/4 or above.You must have at least 2 years of equestrian experience in order to apply for this roleAbout usMedway Green School is a special needs provision that provides for students whose SEMH/SEN needs have resulted in placement breakdown at their mainstream schools. We provide a nurturing and welcoming environment to SEMH students in Key stages 1-3. Studentswill experience a personalised curriculum based on previous learning and identified needs. With a keen focus on therapy, education and personal development the school aims to help young children grow academically, socially and emotionally to enable them toachieve success as they progress through life.Opened in 2019, Medway Green School presently provides education to 48 students.
