Job Description

Test AnalystCirca £35,000Worsley, ManchesterWere looking for a Software Tester whos on the lookout for a new challenge, someone whos ready to take a step up and be the go to person for all things testing within a growing telecoms company.It will be a mix of both manual and automation testing, with a great set up already in place, ready for you to take over and evolve, getting the environment to the best it can be.Youll be:

  • Joining a Scrum team, getting involved in daily stand ups, sprint planning and retrospectives
  • Working with Selenium WebDriver to build test requirements, write automated scripts and ensure existing scripts run smoothly
  • Functional, system and regression testing a range of web apps and internal systems
  • Tracking and progressing all risks and issues using Jira
  • Working closely with DevOps, Software Development and Project Management teams
  • Creating test plans, cases, scripts and exit reports
Required tech skills include:
  • Selenium WebDriver
  • Postman
  • System, functional and regression testing experience
  • Lambda test or similar
  • Jira or similar
Ideally youll have worked in an Agile environment too!Its a great time to join, they are currently modernising their tech stack and switching over to Node and React on the coding side and transitioning to the Cloud.This team is likely to grow in the future and whilst youre in the role there will be plenty of learning and development opportunities.It will be a hybrid role, with 1 or 2 days in the office each week, more if preferred. They also offer flexible working hours and theres free parking onsite.
